I have been tryin to get a website up. I was talkin to a rep. from this company and finally decided i wanted to work with his company. That day I had proceeded to attempt to pay, yet my credit card had not allowed me to at the moment. the rep. was great about it at first, and just said i would be able to pay the next day when i work with somebody on my project.

instead the first thing i woke up to was, "let me know when i can process your credit card so i can get my boss of my a*s". if this had been over a longer period of time and or i had recieved a service, i would understand completely, but instead this was less then 24hrs and hadnt even spoke with anybody yet.

after reading that email i decided to look up the ripoff riport and BBB again just to cover my a$$ before i went further. It turns out they arent even a accredited business! yes i did inform the person of the bad choice of words, and he apologized. i still wouldnt want to risk being ripped off when there are multiple clues to their service.

Check with the Salt Lake City Better Business Bureau: 28 compliants filed against Global Response Technologies; rates the company "F"--the lowest rating possible.

The State of Utah, Department of Commerce, Division of Consumer Protection has investigated Global Response Technologies and has just issued a citation against the company for violating Utah law and has levied a fine against the company.

The facts speak for themselves.

Brandon was a great salesman. He was also a very loyal employee. He hated/hates GRT but at the time was working for them. He was fired until the head of sales begged the owner to bring him back. Shortly after pouring everything he had into the company he quit. He was an honest salesman and there was just too much going on the wasn't aboveboard.

I am a believer in this website. I think consumers need a place to be heard. Unlike the BBB which really gives no information this site allows consumers to be "real" I also feel that the site should not be abused.
I work for Global Response Technologies. IF we had signed this person up and they actually were a client of ours and we HAD ripped them off then this post would be justified.
We never signed this person up, they have NEVER been our client. We NEVER took their money, we NEVER even came to an agreement to do their project. As sales people we try to build rapport with customers. Some customers are "business only" some customers are tired of speaking to robots and want a person who can open up and be a little more friendly and dare I say make a joke or two to ease the pain of the "sale".
In this case we misunderstood the level of rapport we had with this potential client. We are only human and never claim to be anything but that.
Point in hand. Please understand that this site is in my understanding a place where a consumer who has been RIPPED OFF can make a complaint to warn others to not get RIPPED OFF. Please use the board for that reason or else it becomes dangerously close to a place to throw slanderous remarks around.
