Gold's Gym Stealing Money - WARNING! Bridgewater New Jersey

Please be warned: I was told from one worker that in order to cancel it has to be 60 day notice. I called up their financial office (since they can't cancel your membership at the gym) and was put in touch with ABC Financial. I informed them that I needed to cancel since I was moving away for another job.

I was instructed to write an email with membership # etc. (I did not get a letter of acknowledgement. Had I known I was supposed to I would have called back).

I left the Gold's Gym and a month later, they took money from my account. I called ABC Financial to find out why. They told me they have not received a cancellation notice. Then informed me they will continue to take out the next month as well since they have a 30 day cancellation. I informed them that I already cancelled a month ago and the gym in fact would not allow me in since they told me my membership was cancelled.

Clearly these people have no idea what's going on. ABC Financial could see that I called a month ago to cancel my account.

Please be warned: Gold's Gym is a scam in the business to steal your money even after you cancel your membership.
