My experience with them has been a complete nightmare. It's my opinion that they build a pile of crap for a house, and fail to do anything on time. Not just my personal experience, but from others i have talked to. They don't honor their commitments, and you end up with garbage....IF they build it. I know someone personally who contracted them to build a house, and they couldn't even get out to survey the property AFTER ONE YEAR!!! He lost over $10,000 because of this builder.
The owner let's his son, who i think is half retarded, try to run things and he in my opinion is dishonest, and way in over his head.
If you look with the lee County Clerk's officde, you will see that they are involved in handfuls of lawsuits. they even have building material companies sueing them. Not good at all.
I am surprised they are still in business. I would guess that they disolve their corporation name to avoid any potential lawsuits. Just my opinions.
There are many, many good builders available, and I would give a dime to this copmany if i were anyone reading this.

Im glad that there is someone else out there that feels this way. I have been in my house for 4 years and list is long on what is wrong with the house. Let's just say within the first 18 months I had to have a new AC put in, my roof reshingled, my entire drainfield replaced, tiles replaced and cracked again, just to name a few. I have cracks all over my house in the tile, all of the eletrical outlets were cut to big and filled with caulking so now they are all caving in, exterior doors rotting out when the house is only 4 years old. The list goes on.
I thought I was contracting with a well established builder. I guess he got to big for his own good to fast and got greedy and oversold houses that he could not build timely.
As far as Groff, jr. My experience with him was that of an arrogant SOB who thought he knew everything yet never had any dirt under his nails.
