Groupon Sell coupons for products and services that never get filled Chicago Illinois

Do not trust Groupon.  They offer a great number of coupons that you buy from Groupon, but when you go to fill the orders with the actual vendors, they often do not get filled.  There is NO WAY TO CONTACT GROUPON and when you do manage to get through on their web site. 

You get ignored time and time again.  When that happens, kiss your money goodbye.  Their worst vendors are ScanDigital who refuse to responed to over 20 different communications.  Another is 2712 Designs who simply refure to respond. The services provided by ScanDigital are horrible.  They transfer data from tapes and films to USB drives, and believe me, you don't want to see the results.  It's like looking through murky, dirty, filthy glasses.  You can barely make out the details. Complaints do nothing.  They keep responding with their "CANNED" messages over and over again. These are only 2 examples of bad companies represented by Groupon.  Others are too numerous to mention. 

Why do vendors use Groupon?  My guess is that they are desperate for business and they don't care about bad publicity as they are probably in very bad financial situations so they have nothing to lose. I don't believe that Groupon ever checks the reliability of vendors, and they certainly don't want to hear bad reports from the public.  Groupon makes their money and they don't seem to care whether the contracts get filled properly (or at all). 

Better to buy from reliable vendors or local stores, than try to bargain hunt with Groupon, and get burned time and time again.
