Guardsman Guardsman Furniture Protection Plan is a big rip off Misleading Company. Ripoff Grand Rapids Michigan

I contacted guardsman to correct a problem with my chair and ottaman.
The right arm board of the furniture chair, came apart and the ottoman has a oil stain. First let start by saying I filled out the form three times because the customer rep claims they never received both of the claims I mailed. The third time certified mail Wow, they seem to received it. The other two times was just to prolong the action of having someone to come out to fix, patch or do something.

I finally talk with a live Rep, she explained to me the ottaman is not covered because I stated I didnt know what kind of stain it was. Darn its an oil stain. Right then I wanted to speak with a department Supv. or Manager, I got put on hold 3 different times, each time for at least 10 to 20 minutes. Finally I called Rapids MI spoke to someone, they gave me the Supervisor's name. My question to her was, should I have simply looked down the list of normal household oil stains and lied stating its a meatball stain, knowing that on the claim I stated a black stain, but because I stated I didnt know what kind of stain, her reply was Ma'mam we can't honor that. Needless to say, I'm going to tell everyone I know, if the stain your reporting is purple, blue or black tell a BIG DRAWN OUT LIE and its PAID.
I am very upset about this matter. Guardsman is paying for the chair but not the ottaman, now that is a pitful shame.

*For all of the consumers that are purchasing guardsman. The Furniture Companies are only paying about $15-20 dollars to guardsman compared the consumers paying the furniture companies $100-300 dollars for your furtinure to be covered, by guardsman which is so not company worthy.
