Hewlett Packard Fraud - Bait & Switch? - False Advertising FRAUD! Palo Alto California

Purchased a $ 1,300.00 Designjet printer AFTER asking HP if they had one that would do what I need: Print photos in Black and White only AND use Pigmented inks.

They said the their Designjet 130 would do the job. I purchased it. Within two days, I learned that it did not do the job, printed Black and White with Magenta and Green thrown in, and used DYE inks, NOT PIGMENTS.

I asked for a refund or another machine, they refused and told me that they would help me do what I wanted with that printer. You cannot return anything to a manufacturer like HP without an RMA number which they refused.

Subsequent phone calls over a period of two years resulted in no solution, but cost me an additional $ 800.00 or so in trying solutions they suggested but would not pay for.

I have since learned that HP NEVER had such a printer available when I purchased it, they only started to make them about a year ago, they simply lied to me, they could not have sold me what I needed, they did not make it, only EPSON did at the time.
