HSN IS CROOKED let me tell you so no one will be taken the way I have been. I purchased a Laptop off their infomercial show back in April of 2008. I had it set up with Flex-Pay so that a total of 4 payments would be debited to have the product paid in full. After making the first 2 payments my take home pay was cut by 650 dollars a month. I called and told them I could no longer afford the Laptop and needed to return the Laptop. They would not take it back and instead gave me a one month deferral. I told them that things probably would not change and she told me to call back if things were not any better. In July I called and the Flex-Pay department told me that they could only give a one month deferral and I asked what can I do. She told me if I could not make the payments it would be put in collections. She told me not to worry because it does not go against your credit history but instead the collections would try and work out a feasible way for you to get this Laptop paid off.

A couple of days later I called again mainly to suggest an idea of how to get my Laptop paid for. I asked if I could pay 75 a month for the next 4 months and that would pay off the product. The Flex-Pay department told me they do not except partial payments but if I wanted to do that she could move me to check pay. I thanked her and she proceeded to tell me what would happen is that when they received the first 75 dollars the check would be held until another check arrived and at that time both checks would be put towards my balance. I was checking my balance on August 7th and noticed that the 75 dollar check that I sent in the month before had been cashed and in doing so they ran my account ovedrawn which added 37 dollars in late fees. I contacted Flex-Pay and spoke with the same women who told me that I misunderstood her and she was not about to reimburse me for any late fees. It was at that time I told her because of the overdraft I would be the better part of a month getting another 75 dollar check in the mail bit I would do my best to send one sooner.

On Sept 12, 2009 I was checking my banking on the internet and noticed that 2 payments of 149.97 had been debited out of my account on Sept 11. I immediately went and disputed those charges with Fifth Third Bank. I got home and contacted an attorney who told me to cancel my debit card so they could not take out anymore money. I did and he told me to let him know if the bank credited the money back and if not we would have other options. A week later the money was credited back. I immediately called HSN and wanted to resolve this problem and they told me I was paid in Full thru an email I had sent. I called a few more times and got the same response. On December 29th 2009 without any warning 2 payments of 149.97 were debited from my account. I could not understand why since I had canceled my card back in September. I immediately contacted the bank and they told me that I would be receiving the rebuttle from HSN and I would rebute that when it came.

I sat down and wrote a long letter from start to finish everything that had happened and when I received the letter from Fifth Third about 10 days later then they said I rebuted what they had done the best I could. I received a cal on Feb 18th from Fifth Third and after talking on the phone for 45 minutes with the disputes department she told me to call HSN and see why they helped thierselves to my money on Dec 29th 2009. I explained I had a payment plan set up and they had even bounced the first 75 dollar payment on me that they said they were going to hold. The women I spoke to at HSN told me that they have no record of any payment being sent. T called Fifth Third back and she told me to go and get a copy of the cancelled check and she would fax it to HSN. That was on the 18th of Feb. 5 days later my account gets charged off putting my credit in Jeopardy. I am still awaiting answers

Please if you are thinking about or have ever purchased a product from HSN BEWARE of their business practices and don't believe anything that they have to say in regards to payment plans to help you in anyway. If they have stolen from me they will steal from you. Head my words and you will be better for it
