Hoosier Tradewinds released from contract/refusal to send settlement arkadia Illinois

My boyfriend leased a truck from Hoosier Tradewinds at the beginning of Nov. The Wednesday before Thanksgiving he came home, we were both sick for 3 weeks. The 1st time out with Tradewinds they told my boyfriend that they would put money on his card to eat, pay tolls or whatever he needed, they didn't do that, the office all went home and my boyfriend was without money, after many calls and late into the night they finally put food on a credit card.

When my boyfriend came home for Thanksgiving and had been sick for a week already-we live in wi-he asked tradewinds to authorize money on the card so he could put fuel in the truck because the truck that was leased to him didn't have a APU on it or a cord to the block heater on it, so he asked if they would authorize fuel so that he could run the truck so it didn't freeze up, they said no because he wasn't under a load.

So, the truck had to be towed because it did freeze up, now it is sitting in the shop 12 miles away. QualityTruck sent me an email stating that they would make things right with us. This is where the truck was leased from.

My boyfriend was suppose to get a settlement on friday, sat no settlement, mon no settlement, today no settlement. When my boyfriend finally did get ahold of someone after 3 days of trying they told him that they were releasing him from his contract because of "piss poor performance" per  Dave at Tradewinds and that they were keeping his settlement 45 days. 

Tradewinds is known for not being a reputable company and not keepiung their word, if you don't believe me call OOIDA and ask them about Tradewinds. I was told by OOIDA that they have numerous complaints on this company. OOIDA also told me that they will probably keep my boyfriends settlement claiming that it had to go to get the truck running and for recovery of the truck even tho my boyfriend offered to bring the truck back to them. 

If you ask me i think this company is hard up for money and will screw anyone or any driver that comes their way just to make a buck. It is companies like this that are ruining the industry and making it so that people don't want to do lease purchase programs. And by the way they only pay $1.10 per mile plus surcharge which comes to $1.42/mile. National average for surge charge is .45 at this time.
