My HP Pavillon ZE4400 has been sent back to the Seller and the Manufacturer contacted more than three times for various problems, some inherently dangerous. From the moment I received this item it did not work right. Software was not properly loaded, the internal WiFi can NEVER worked properly, the adapter never plugged into the computer properly, the screen constantly faded in and out, and the battery never charged correctly and it was recalled as a fire hazard without my being notified.
On numerous occasions I have called HP support with these problems, my inquiries going unanswered or I was told that a substantial fee would be attached to repairs. It is my understanding that HP has been aware of all these problems, especially the defective adapter, with their laptops since 2005 and has refused to repair this problem free of charge or replace the units. I will not pay anything to repair a unit that was sold to me with a known dangerous defect. The adapter/battery (when it was working) caused a fire in an outlet in my home. The adapter no longer works because it was defectively designed to break off and damage the mother board. At this point I expect nothing less than an English speaking person based out of a Corporate Office in the U.S.(I am tired of dealing with out-sourced workers who have severe language barriers and are clueless as to resolving a problem) to contact me about this situation. I expect a prompt response from someone with authority to fix this problem. I have contacted HP and have not heard back.

It appears that I will be forced to contact the Attorney Genl's Office and/or file a lawsuit to get the money I spent on the laptop, repairs, electrician expenses for the fire and any incidental damages & expenses. This is why I will not spend 390$ from HP for the repair of this defective laptop. Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated.
