Instant Checkmate Company claiming to have background information for a fee Internet

i was researching online and came across a "free" service to help track down people for a high school reunion. I somehow inadvertently and apparently ended up on the Instant Checkmate website where they offered low cost or free trial research services. Now I discover that for a one-time effort of looking up two names on the same day for what I thought was a FREE service, I have been charged $22.86 monthly for SEVEN months. Moreover, Wells Fargo did not back me up on the fraudulent charges and said that I should have read some nondescript fine print or contract That I have no recollection of ever seeing. I NEVER received email confirmation because it undoubtedly was filtered as junk, being as how this company more than likely is marked as a source of a high volume of complaint activity. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES because they do not deliver as promised and hide behind sneaky hidden "auto-renewal" terms and will zap your account over and over again!!!
