In November 2006 I bought a 4 gig usb hard drive from (I think Staples) submitted the required documents. Submitted rebate. Waited until January to check status. Called rebate services the company handling the rebate.

They said it would show up on line when it was ready to be mailed out in Feb.

Waited , called a couple of times more, sent 2 faxes of resubmissions. Finally showed up in May. Still have not received it. Rebate form says rebate must be cashed NLT 31 May.

Sent a Fax to I/O Magic yesterday with all the paperwork, never heard anything.

Called I/O Magic Customer Service today, she could not help me and transferred me to the supervisor who only had voice mail.

Called the rebate center and THEY ARE THE SAME PEOPLE AS I/O MAGIC. The same person answered!!

This place is a complete ripoff and I will never ever buy anything from them again. I will be filing reports with the consumer protection of California and the BBB. I also will let Staples Corp know about this company.
