IOLO believes they are not liable if their software or their remote techs destroy your computer. They say their license agreement holds them harmless for any and all damage they cause.

Their remote tech tried to install their software, and in the process destroyed my computer. They refused to pay the $120 I had to pay Tiger Direct to undo the damage.

Sung to the tune of United Breaks Guitars:

All I tried to do was install the latest version of System Mechanic I tried over-and-over but kept running into a wall
Finally, IOLO tech support I call.
Their techs had me repeating the same steps over-and-over again for a week.
Then I allowed one of their remote techs to try his luck.
He tried for week, then exclaimed, "Oh, f**k,
I destroyed Mike's computer, I'm a lousy geek."
IOLO... (IOLO...) You broke my Gateway Computer. Play fair. IOLO... (IOLO...)
I asked IOLO customer service to pay $120 for the repair.
All I got was a lot of hot air.
They said IOLO is not liable for the damage they cause.
They said big companies like us pay for the laws.
IOLO... (IOLO...) You broke my Gateway Computer. Play fair.

They told me, I'm s**t out of luck, because I chose IOLO
They CEO screamed, "Run along now, I have to play polo."
I said, "But you broke my Gateway Computer, play fair."
They said, "Screw you, get out of our hair."
IOLO... (IOLO...) You broke my Gateway Computer. Play fair. IOLO... (IOLO...)
You should pay for the damage you caused, you broke it. You're liable, just admit it I should've bought Norton 360, cause IOLO is s**t. 
Now I'm going to have to get a writ.
