Bought a new refrigerator for a disabled vet. Did not know of 48 hrs policy for defective merchandise and 15% restocking fee.  Refrigerator ices and drips water from freezer.

Bought online on 5/2/18 and delivered 5/9/18.  Waited 48 hours and wasn't getting cold. Was dripping water all over floor from freezer. Turned it up (after mopping up) as cold as it could go and frost and water still pouring into fridge. Call store they refuse to send a new

one insisting we need the repairs from Frigidaire. Why do I need repairs on a brand new refrigerator a week old? Went to store to inquire the problem with getting a replacement and was told 48 hour rule. They refused to take back. FYI no water on door or icemaker as

the issue. This is just a  piece of crap that JC PENNEY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND. Do not buy anything from them. Told them they need to learn from Lowe's home depot and other appliance stores how to treat people. Salesperson,dept manager and store manager all

gave same reply that it's like buying a car warranty covers it. LIES! You have at least 30 days to return to Lowe's . BOYCOTTING STORE. Hope they close them all!

Heard from jcpenney. Thank you Joe. Arranged pickup and refund for damaged fridge. Seems policy changed after my order. HE WAIVED RESTOCKING FEE. so I will be made whole.
