The fitness club in Grand Prairie, Texas itself seems to be fine, clean, machines always in working order, but stay away from the Body of Change/Pro Results trainers....far away. They make used car salesmen look like angels.
Spoke with trainer there, just had questions, decided it might be good to sign-up, but indicated more than once could not do anything financially until Friday (this was on Monday). Signed papers believing nothing would happen until Friday, on Tuesday sign-up fees to the tune of $309 hit my checking account, causing me to suffer insufficient fund fees to the tune of $100. And of course then it takes them 7-10 days to refund your money!!! One day to take it out, 7-10 to replace.
LA Fitness needs to get rid of the "personal training" the turnover with those guys is unbelievable, just stay away...its not worth it!!! They want nothing but your name on the dotted line.

You spoke with the "Assistant Managers" not the Personal Trainers.
The personal trainers don't sell training, they are only there to train people.
The Assistant Managers in the black polo shirts and khakis are NOT personal trainers.
They are salesmen who pose as trainers.
In the future, make sure you find out if the person trying to sell you is a trainer or just a salesman.
If they can't produce a certification or some proof they are qualified to train, DO NOT deal with them.
Do not sign anything unless you have read the fine print because once you enter in to a contract with Pro Results, you will have a hard time cancelling it.
