Landau Jewelry Told bracelet was diamonds, got fake stones, ripoff Allentown Pennsylvania

When shopping at Landau jewelers in Roosevelt field mall, I went in looking for a diamond tennis bracelet (I told this to the sales rep). Apparently she took advantage of this, by showing me a bracelet in the case the only problem was that it was a CZ bracelet. She further misled us, not once mentioning it was a simulant, by saying if any of the diamonds fall out they will replace it.

Later on we learned Landau sells all imitation jewelry. Its curious why she would use the word diamond at all unless she intended to deceive us.

The receipt merely said bracelet $649 , so I had no idea.

Later on we came to realize through a friend that the stones were fake. When we did, we were told that the store policy is a strict NO REFUND, exchange only. I even called the corporate office, and they explained the miswording (i.e diamond instead of CZ) by the fact that the CZ's were diamond like.

After speaking with these people, I'm very skeptical of the standard of ethics that Landau employs. Most jewelry stores in the same mall offer a full refund if you are dissatisfied. Landau does not.

They sell their fake jewelry at extremely high prices, close to that of those without imitation stones. The receipts are extremely non-descriptive. This opens up the door for commission sales people to completely dupe consumers.

Even the corporate office had a well we already have your money, so there is nothing you can do attitude. They didn't care that I had potentially been duped, they just wanted to keep my money.
