April 29th 2017, we went in to the dealer with the intention of buying a vehicle. Right off the bat they were amazing and found us a vehicle that we liked. We were allowed to test drive it and everything about that day was great, except for the fact that they let us drive off the lot without financing us. In their original contract it stated that they had 10 days to finance us otherwise we would have to return the vehicle and we would have to pay a certain amount. We were ok with it. Two weeks passed by and we still had not been financed. At that point both my wife and I wanted to return the vehicle because not only were we not financed, but the check engine light also kept turning on for no apparent reason. When we arrived, we told the financing gentleman we wanted to return the vehicle because it was technically not ours, he refused and threatened that we would have to pay a lot of money because we had already had the vehicle for two weeks. My wife informed him it was not a problem. At that moment the financing gentleman changed his tone and said it was a "great car and we will fix everything and anything that is wrong with it because it is covered under the warranty you paid for". My wife and I agreed. We finally got a call June 15, 2017 to go down to the dealership and sign a new contract. Upon arrival a new financing gentleman handled our financing. When my wife and I asked about the other person, we were told that he had been fired for not properly doing his job. At that point we felt uneasy because it meant to us that we had been scammed. The new financing person assured everything would be fine. Again, we informed him that the car was bad, that the check engine kept turning on. He again reassured us that he would have the service department take care of it. The car was again in the shop and when my wife went to pick it up it would not start, we were told it was the battery. My wife drove to a gas station to load it up, and then again it would not start, even after trying to jumpstart it. Due to that situation my wife was put in a lot of emotional and physical stress (she was 6 months pregnant without air conditioner in the summer heat and late to work). I took about an hour and a half of waiting when the car suddenly turned on. My wife experience several more emotionally draining moments because of the same reoccurrence throughout the remaining of her pregnancy. Finally, on August 31st, when my wife was 3 days overdue, she decided to go down to the dealership and ask why this problem kept happening. During that confrontation, the financing gentleman was extremely rude, told my wife to "suck it up, it's what happens when you own a car", thankfully my wife's mother drove her back home because she got light headed from anger and wouldn’t have been able to drive. Four days later, my wife gave birth to my daughter who was rushed to the NICU, upon discharge of both my wife and daughter we were unable to drive the vehicle we had purchased for our family because it was not drivable, it was in my garage untouched from early August to early October. The first week of October when my wife felt better, she went down to the dealership to speak to a manager that did not speak to her and instead ended up to talking to a Mr. Kelly. He assured my wife that all needed repairs would be done (repairs we were being charged about $900 for even though in the past we were told everything was covered) and that if it happened again we could change cars. Well it happened again and again and finally I was sick of it so I decided to head down myself and see what I could do. On February 20th we were foolishly talked into buying a brand-new Jeep Compass by who we thought was a manager (my wife asked to speak to a manager and ask we have our old car repaired with the motor switched). Again, the same scenario of last April played out, From February 20th, 2018 to April 10th 2018 we had not been contacted about financing, they kept running my credit and we had no way of knowing what was going on. So, on April 11, 2018 we decided to drive down to the dealership and return the vehicle for which we had not been financed. Immediately, we were bombarded with the excuse that they had tried to contact us about some deal they had for us, (we had no emails or missed calls or voicemails), I immediately declined to sign anything and asked for my original vehicle back. I was told it would take a couple of days. It had been two weeks and I am tired of waiting. I searched up my old vehicle's VIN number and found it is being sold at some car sales place in Arizona called Cactus Jack's. I'm very upset because I'm still paying the bank and insurance company for that vehicle. I have not had that vehicle in my possession since February 20th and I'm still paying. I need help!

On June 15th you thought you had been scammed but yet you agreed to purchase a vehicle with the check engine light on. Continuing to operate a vehicle with the check engine light on is operator neglect. Apparently you weren’t very concerned with your pregnant wife driving an unreliable vehicle. On February 20th you agreed to purchase a new vehicle from this same dealership that you thought scammed you, were twice unable to repair the current vehicle and refused to permit your wife to speak to a manager. You let the dealer treat you like a doormat. Happy motoring!

 When it comes to SLIMEBALLS in the Sleazy American Car Business, this chain is high on the list. Bogus fees, con games, the spot delivery scam and much more, it's all in the reputation of this sorry typical example of FRAUD and DECEPTION in the Sleazy American Car Business. The words "honesty" and "integrity" are NOT in their vocabulary. Everyday, the people their cough and gag on the stench of their own fraud and deception. Spread the word and don't ever, ever, ever go to ANY of their stores again.
