i ordered a 'free' sample of LeanSpa Weight Loss and LeanSpa Cleanse, each a 30 day supply.  I ordered on the 12th and received it a few days later (more than 2 days).  After 10 days from the order date  my credit card was charged with a 79.99 charge.  According to the advertising, I was supposed to get to use the product for 14 days and then continue or cancel the product.  Even though this is not probably a sufficient amount of time to see results,  I understood the terms.

After seeing the charge appear on my CC before the alloted time, I decided to contact the company via internet at the link on the invoice.  Nothing happened except a blank page.  So I went to the web site...again nothing when I tried to contact customer service.

After further research, I found this link with negative comments about the process this company uses, ie, you get to try the product 'free' for 14 days and then get charged full price for the bottle.  I have not yet tried to contact the company by phone, but will probably encounter the same results as has been related, that I will have to pay something for the 'free' products.

Shame on me for believing what I read on the internet!!!

LeanSpa-More frustration

AUTHOR: Ross - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, February 26, 2011

After several attempts to get to my order because it was very hard to find the correct ID number I hit a blank wall trying to cancel one order (I have two order numbers).  One shows the order on 'freeze' and the other status would not change.  I tried to call the 1-800 number and was put on hold for over 10 minutes.  I tried the 'support@leanspa.com customer service 24/7 link and all it did was loop me back to the same page.  Their marketing strategy is very deceptive.

I finally found a screen which explained if I wished to cancel, I could pay 19.98 for the 'privilege'
of using the product for 'free' for the 14 days.  I finally decided to send it all back, and was able to get a return merchandise authorization number.  They also have very specific return rules.  I would have kept the product, paid the reduced price IF it was easier to cancel future orders.

Don't buy from these people!!!
