Levitz furniture ripoff 7 year damage and stain warantee ripoff TACOMA, Washington

We had our couches for about a year when we realized that they were sinking in in the middle. So we inspected the couches and saw small tares on the inside by the arms of the couch ( one on each side).

We emailed the warantee company and they didn't respond for a month. Then we called them. They said that they had received the email and since we did not call them with in 5 days after the rip took place they could not help us.

We explained to them that not everybody has a phone and we had just moved and at the time had been waiting for service, hence the email. But the man was very rude again and repeated that there was nothing they could do.

He stated that the rips/tares would not have happened if we would have reported the problem within the five days. I then told him that we contacted them as soon as we realized there was a problem. He then became very brief and one more time repeated that the laps in time between email and phone call was uncalled for and we obviously did not do our part so they could not help us.

It was the worst experience I have ever had with a company. It has been 3 years since our purchase and it has gotten so bad that no matter where you sit on our couch or love seat you sink into the middle and there you sink down.

What we thought would be furniture that would last a while has now become $3000 of JUNK.
