Magazine Services Of America Ripoff opened 3 fradulant accounts for magazine charged to credit card and is harassing us when the entire accound is paid off Margate Florida

I suscribed to 5 magazines 3 years ago and when the company called to verify I was recieving the magazines they automatically opened a new account when I stated I was not recieving any magazines. My credit card was charged 3 different accounts but still the magazines were not arriving but at that time they were charging me for 7 magazines. What prompted the call to the service was the fact that I was not recieving the magazines in which they said they would correct it. They verified the origional order and asked if we wanted to change our ORIGIONAL order. When I updated the information that is when the additional charges were added. Each change prompted a new account be opened. When I finally got hold of a supervisor, she offered to close one of my account if we agreed to pay of the $253 dollars on the remaining two. I got hold of the supervisor only because I closed my credit card. In order to get this taken care of quickly, I agreed and told them that they would be paid off by check. We paid the entire bill off and are still being arrassed for a bill that states we have $199.80 (as of 4/17/04) credit for the third account. Now we are being harassed on the phone.

We recieve 2 magazines now but not the 7 we paid for and are being harassed weekly. Our current bill deducts $24.98 from our credit (which we do not have) from one of the 2 accounts we paid off. No one (when they call) can answer why they are calling us to pay a monthly fee for a credit. Mind you the credit should not exist at all as everything should be closed. I understand that by paying off 2 accounts I was permitting them to rip me off but I thought that by doing so they would stop the harassment. I was wrong. In essence they were charging my credit card $24.98 monthly for 2 years for 3 separate accounts as in approx $1798.56 for a two year period. In addition add the $253.00 I paid in cash. I would like to have this service closed and not that I am looking for a refund necessarly, but I do want the harassment stopped.
