Magic Jack No such thing as a 30 days free trial at Magic Jack San Juncento, California Internet

The informercial for Magic Jack caught my attention in the pre dawn hours. Little did I realize that, like many of the undefined notions that occur during the early morning post slumber hours, MAGIC JACK was but a figment of my imagination.

The informercial drew me in with the pledges of free calling and the ability to thumb my nose at the phone company or cable companies high prices for service. Well After my experiences with MAAGIC JACK and their non existent customer no service. I look forward to working with the aformentioned service providers.

First of all.. How does a phone provider who touts themselves as the new generation get away with not having a call in customer service line. The no help online ignore system seems to provide the same canned answers to all my questions. I pinged them on a number of occassions and received the same non committed universal replies to my questions. Seems as though they have a robot or vertual inteligence monitoring the customer no service and spitting out replys based on trigger words...

The biggest complaint is the 30 day free trial. My credit card was charged the full fee immediatly after ordering. When I contacted customer no service for a refund the plott thickened. I was initially advised that my Bank was to blame for the hold. After I followed up with my bank and returned with a bank memo that overturned this position. Customer No service advised that debit card users are charged the full amount up front.

Wait a minute... The infomercial did not advise of this. Sounds like deceptive advertising. I'm going to report you to the BBB, State and any organization that will listen regarding your scam... After the Scam comment.. customer no service discontinued the conversation.

The final insult. To return to MAgic Crap I must request a return vertification number and pay the shipping and handling. Wait it gets better.. I must also include a verification receipt that explains why I was dissatified with the unit. then and only then will my card will be refunded after the 30 day expiration period
