I purchased their startup kit on Feburary 22, 2006 when I received a invitation through the US Post Office. Promises of great money abounded in the mailing. A guarantee was included, which said if you did not make at least $400 after placing their suggested ad in the paper, your money would be refunded.

I placed the ad just as they wrote it, but had no orders. However, I did not ask for a refund at that time, because I was going to give it some more time. I purchased business cards with my distributor number on it, set up my own website with a link to their website, but the only orders on my account were orders that I placed for gifts.

I had a real problem with the distributor manual they sent:

The table of contents had NO page numbers, so I offered to go through the manual and put page numbers in, which I did, and emailed to them. I have no idea if they shared that with other distributors. The manual is huge, nearly 200 pages, but not too helpful.

In the first few months, they were pretty good about emailing back when I had a question, however, their answers were very vague, and not helpful at all. (Unfortunately, my email program crashed and I don't have any of those emails)

As time went on, they would not answer my emails, and I always got an answering machine when I called their pone number.

I had a call on April 16, 2006 from a customer who had found my website and wanted to place an order, had clicked the link to the main website, and got a blank page. I told her I would call the company and find out was was going on, as I had not been able to load the page myself either.

When I called, I got a message machine that said they were closed for Inventory. When I opened the website this morning, April 17, this is the message I found:

Magic Kids will be closed April 13 -14, 2006. We will also be closed April 19-20, 2006. As a result any orders placed will have a delay being shipped out. Please take this into consideration while placing orders that require expedited shipping. We at Magic Kids would like to Thank You for your business.

I am very displeased with this company, their customer support is null, their distributor support is also null, and there is no way to know who has ordered using our distributor number.

Also, after I had purchased all my business cards with my number, they sent a letter out on 11/14/2005 indicating that now I had a new distributor number.

Tracking orders from my website are a joke, as the customer has to remember my number, instead of it being entered automatically when they click the link. I have made many suggestions to the company on many of these issues, but with absolutely no response.
