Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

First, the movers were told over & over NOT to use any of their supplies. I had 3 witnesses to attest to this f act. I am on a budget & had allowed $1800 max for the move. I purchased my own boxes, tape & shrink wrap from Wal-Mart the day before. I also had blankets, sheets & towel I used to pack things.

No one mentioned stairs until my things were loaded onto the truck. An estimate was emailed to me, but I was only directed to the inventory portion. Master Movers removed $75 of the
surprise charge off my bill.

Master Movers attempted to overcharge me by $500 for supplies I specifically told them I did not want.

I sent multiple emails & made multiple phone calls that went ignored for several days. I wanted to know when my belongings were going to arrive & I was initially disputing the charges. I finally received a corrected statement via email. [continued below]....

Master Movers showed up to my home 2 hours late & and one mover came alone. I expessed my concerns with this fact & he informed me the two other workers were ill and he was capable of
bringing my things up to my apartment safely. He told me Dont worry, dont worry.

When he brought my china cabinet up, he had someone from the groundskeeping staff help him. This is unacceptable to have a untrained stranger handling my things. What if he fell & hurt
himself or damaged my furniture?

He dug 2 holes into the linoleum in the kitchen/breakfast nook when he moved the china cabinet.

The condition of my boxes was shocking. I purchased all new bigger boxes & had smaller used boxes that were in perfect condition. The mover left my boxes in deplorable condition. Boxes that were marked glass, frames & dishes were treated with complete disregard for their contents. At least 1 box, he left on its side. Clearly heavy boxes were stacked & crushed the boxes under them. 

The mover left a large wicker trunk, which by its nature is delicate, upside down, warping the top of the trunk.

I had many items packed in plastic containers were all in excellent shape. One large pink container was clearly labeled Glasses on the top was delivered with the top crushed. The antique
hurricane lamp inside was shattered.

I asked the apartment manager to come look @ the damage to the floor for herself so I was not held responsible for it. She made note of the damage and of the disrespectful way the mover spoke to me.

After all my things were unloaded, the mover asked me to sign the receipt. I informed him I read on Master Movers website it instructed not to sign if any damage was noted. I told him I wasnt going to sign because of the damage to the floor & the chest. He snatched the documents up & stormed to the door. I asked for a receipt & he raised his voice & said he wasnt going to give me one because I refused to sign. I told him what the website said, but he again in a raised voice said I couldnt have one. I said he damaged the floor & was responsible for it. He loudly accused the apartment complex of buying cheap flooring & said, Its not my fault. They used plastic flooring. The manager stood there with her mouth agape. She informed him they did not use cheap flooring & he caused the damage. He repeated, loudly, it wasnt his fault & stormed out the door. The manager & I stood there looking @ each other, shocked.

After the manager left, I was upset, I went to lie down. He knocked on the door & would not answer my replies to Who is it? I opened the door to find him just staring at me. He brought the inventory list for me to sign. I told him I did not appreciate him talking to me that way. I have never been spoken to in such a manner. He began Listen I said, YOU listen! You have no business in treating me like that! I work hard for my money & paid your company good money to bring my stuff to me in the same condition I gave it to you in. He started making excuses saying, Look, Im tired and had no help. I informed him I dont care. Thats not my problem. I refused to allow in re-entry into my apartment, telling him he was no longer welcome. I made a few quick notes on the form about the few things I had found & returned the forms to him. He finally gave me my copies.

I have sent several emails and have yet to receive a response other than they are investigating it.

Master Movers still silent

I have tried time after time to get Master Movers to reply to my complaints. A claim has been filed by my apartment complex for the damage done to my floor. This was in November & December. They evidently have wiped their incompetence under the table and are treating me with the utmost disrespect. It's shocking to me they can continue to do business in such an appalling manner.
