Merchant One Credit Card Processing Opened Account and Never Released Funds Miami Beach Florida

I contacted Merchant One to set up a merchant account to process credit cards for a new online business. They approved the business on Thursday, May 21 and from May 22 through May 24 we processed credit cards for products ordered from our website. Total sales were about $1,600.00

When I did not see the credit card receipts posted to my account, i contacted Merchant One to learn that my account was being held for a "random review". I was told the funds would be released once I provided information such invoices and shipping details and confirmation of delivery. Which I did. A week later, i still did not get my funds released.

Finally i received a call from Jason of the Risk department and was told my funds would be held in reserve for 90 to a 180 days and the account would be closed. Why this company processed in the first place is beyond me. There was no chargeback, and there was only limited activity. Yet they decided that they would hold this small business's money. NO ONE SHOULD USE THIS COMPANY !!! IT IS A SCAM
