Microsoft XP dishonest product and service ripoff Internet Worldwide

Microsoft (XP) Product & Service Microsoft XP, Dishonest, Caution! You dont really own your machine! victimized many consumers Microsoft Corp Everywhere .....

I have read all of the complaints similar to mine about Microsoft Windows XP and I myself have also been ripped off by Microsoft a number of times over the years. I purchased three desk-top machines and a laptop, all containing Windows XP. I then bought a copy of Windows XP to keep as a back-up in-case any of my new XP machines had problems. When I bought the four machines, I also was under the impression that I was buying the license with each. (Thats standard according to Microsoft) that each machine has a license.

Well, I had problems with two of my XP machines and tried to reload windows xp .. Surprise! I was screwed! I called tech support and even the corporate office to get assistance, with the knowledge I had the right to use XP on all four machines because of the purchase of the licenses. Well, Microsoft's solution was to try and force me to buy three more new XP disks at $200 each, to solve the problem.. When I did not agree to buy three more disks, they pretty much told me I was SOL!

Of course, I told them, my solution was to load Microsoft ME on the machines and ditch the XP all together and I was abruptly informed by the corporate office and tech support, WE are not allowed to change the operating system (Down Grade) to Microsoft ME!!! and even if I could, I would have to buy four disks because it would be cheating the agreement and pirating the software. Ok.. so.. We buy the machine but we don't own it and cannot load what we choose in our machines.. Of course, they also told me that it was impossible to load Windows ME in an XP loaded machine.

As far as I am concerned, I legally purchased four machines, each with a license and a copy of all the software on the machines, and yet, I am told what I can and cannot do with what I purchased. Microsoft has just found a way to pirate their customers and use them endlessly. Ultimately, I ended up loading my ME on my XP machines to solve the problem. I purchased Microsoft ME as well, when it came out.

What are they going to do, come drag me out of my house and whip me with the Microsoft Corporate Logo for using another Microsoft Product because I wasn't about to purchase three more of the same identical disks?. Boy, I sure hope that NBC or Fox Network get wind of this stuff, cause I would be right there to turn my nose up at Micrsoft. Bill Gates needs to get an honest handle on his business I am many others are ready to go else where with our business...
