Muscle Car City, Alice Russell Muscle Car City, Alice Russell is a complete RIP OFF!!!! Santa Ana California

I have to admit, I was skeptical after reading all the negative criticism of Alice Russell. After meeting her last fall, she explained that these negative criticisms were all just one person who felt she wronged him in some way. Whatever that case, I called a few of the references she provided. They mentioned if I was patient and could wait (she has small staff working for her), that I would be happy with the results. Her price was VERY reasonable, and her references seemed legitimate...so I took the chance and gave her my beloved 1966 Chevy Nova Wagon. I just got it back last week, and I'm SOOOO glad I took the chance with Alice and her staff. If I had room in my garage, I would buy another Nova and give it to her tomorrow. If you call her, ask her for her references and call me. Marty. I will show you before and after pics (all high resolution). If you want, I'll even show you the car. This guy that is out to tarnish her reputation is not a good person, and will someday have to answer to a higher power. I just don't understand why people spend so much energy on being negative and hurting people. Alice, again...thank you for the GREAT work you did with my Nova. You're the best!

Alice is nothing but great she finds the best deals on parts and services pay great attention to details and listens to what the customer wants and provides great service. she has been great with my 71 ford mustang she made my dream car come true. like any other great things it needs time and appriciation to turn an old bucket into a beautiful unicorn!!! thanks Alice for all your work and keep working hard. = )

Pros: great prices great work and very professional!!!

The careful and correct restoration of a classic automobile is not always a smooth and easy task.
Leadtimes on restortations on a classic car can be greatly affected by outside sources, such as with hard to find parts, chrome, upholstery, etc.
Quality and pricing must be watched carefully and agreed to.
Therefore, there must be clear and honest communication between the customer and the restoration shop.
Alice Russell did everthing possible to satisfy my requirements on the restoration of my 1955 Buick.
Right from the start, she made sure that everything was written down by use of detailed paperwork, to make sure that all work and pricing was understood and agreed to.
Alice always took the extra time and effort to explain to me whatever needed to be resolved, whether it were problems, costs, and the leadtimes.
Alice would always show me the parts that were replaced, as well as the new ones.
She would always let me "See for myself" on the actual progress of the restoration.
I noticed that she took pride in a job well done (A quality sadly lacking in the U.S at this present time). She would even point out inferior work done by previous restoration shops, and would explain what needed to be corrected.
I intend to have Alice work on additional classic cars as well as recommend her to my fellow Buick Club members.

I have been doing business with MUSCLE CAR CITY Restoration shop in Santa Ana, California for many years now and have been very happy with the service and end results on all of my vehicles.
If what you are stating is so true you would have already had a lawsuit and a case number! $10,000 to work on all your cars?
Sounds like you are just a crappy customer who couldn't get something for free.
If you really hate there work then why are you reselling the car for $24900.?
I remember this car and if you were so unsatisfied why would you pick it up.
Looks and sounds like you're the one giving a good company the shaft!

She finished a 1970 Mustang for me. It was the biggest piece of crap before she started. It was full of rust, even the motor was barely running. The quality of the work she does is amazing to say the least. She doesn't cut any corners at all. She'll find all the parts you need for you. No more running around from website to website looking for compatable parts, and comparing the prices and crap like that. Hell, she even gave me a ton of free parts. One example is, I wanted a white stripe down the hood of my 1970 fastback, and I told her to get a decal "sticker" thing for it, because I didn't want to spend too much money. She hand painted the stripe on for me, even the little 351s going vertically down the side of the stripe for me. I didn't even know you could hand paint that stuff, but she figured out a way, and it looks amazing. Didn't cost me a dime. She's also great to work with, great personality, and very understanding. Not like those other assholes who work at those mainstream chain auto shops. I saw a few other cars she had finished on the side and they all looked just as pristine as mine. I could go on all day. All in all, great experience.
