Nationwide Consulting Services Nationwide Consulting Services, specifically Joan Dunne ripped me off for $299.00. I was told by Joan that she could help me get a grant to build a home. Or at least get a guaranteed minimum of $5,000. Now the 888# is DISCONNECTED!! Bear Delaware

I had made an application online for grant to build a home for my elderly parents. A few days later, I received a call from Joan Dunne from Nationwide Consulting Services.

Joan then began to ask me question about my financial situation, and what type of grants I wanted to apply for. There was a pause as she "checked" her computer system. Joan then said that based on the information that I had given her, I did qualify to receive a home improvement grant.

Joan then informed me that Nationwide Consulting Services would then complete any and all grant applications I wanted to apply for. All that was needed to get started was a fee of $299.00 that could be debted out of my bank account. Joan said that If for some reason I didn't get approved for the grant, That I would at least receive $5,000 or the my money back.

She said that I would receive a questionnaire in the mail, and that I had to fill it out and return it. After my questionnaire was received, Joan said that it would take about six months to get any results. She told me that if I had any questions to call her at 888-342-7772 or I could look on the website www.nationwideconsulting.com.

Well, its been 11 months and I haven't received anything from Joan Dunne and the 888 number is disconnected, and the website only gives you links to other websites.There is no contact information on the website. I did manage to get another number for Nationwide Consulting Services today by calling the free 800 directory Assistance. The number they gave me to Nationwide Consulting is: (866) 627-6222, but its an answering machine and I can't make out the name of the "company."

My hope is that Nationwide Consulting Services and Joan Dunne are found and brought to justice. And all of us that were so mercilessly robbed can get our money back.
