I can't believe I fell for this scam. I really hope Mz. "Christine Evans" felt really guilty for duping a 22-year-old Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps who had just returned from Iraq who wanted nothing more than to help her mother find a grant to buy a home so that she and the rest of her four children could live a better life.

I hope that as "Christine" made sure that I wrote down the made-up recording number 3254329, because I would "want to verify the transaction made because there were so many people who try to scam you these days," that it was worth the $299 "finder's fee."

I wonder if "Christine" knew how happy my mother was to learn that we could get up to $10,000 in home grants and at the least $5,000 and that no matter what, I could get almost all my money back if none were found, only to be told that it was all a scam.

I hope "Christine" rests comfortably tonight, knowing that she lives in a country where she can scam hundreds of innocent victims--all from the safety of her home that the Marines and other service members die for to secure.

I hope "Christine" never has to suffer the loss of a loved one away at war, or go to bed early in order to forget her hunger because she can only afford to feed her children, or feel even the slightest bit stupid for getting scammed by a fellow bottom-feeder.
