NCH Software NCH Software blocked use of software after I paid full price by blocking use of software with a message that I need to pay for a new registration code

I paid full price for a registration code to be able to use the Professional Version of NCH Software's Express Scribe. After a few months I purchased a new laptop, placed the registration code in for the software and a message came up which said "The code you are attempting to use is not valid for this version of the software (it was for an older version)". I was not able to use Express Scribe Pro.

There is no time limit on the registration. I do not have the money this month to pay an extra 40 dollars. This is my livelihood and I paid the registration code fair and square. Now this company wants to try to take more money from me. Unbeleiveable. 

I have scoured the website to try to find a phone number or a place to contact someone for such issues to no avail. This is a very shady business practice and I advise anyone looking into a transcription software to look elsewhere. I cannot pay $40 dollars every month for this software and that is certainly not what I agreed to when I made the purchase. Here's hoping that a business with integrity comes along with a transcription software so that hard working, honest people can work.
