We have had numerous unfortunate experiences with Ocwen since our loan was sold to them in 2003.

We struggled financially and were late a few times, this seemed to s****.> We were on the end of the grace period when I tried to make a payment via phone, because the website wont allow you to make a payment if your are 30 days late.

I tried for 4 days straight to make a payment, filling up the voice mail box of 2 Ocwen loan support personal. Needless to say the payment did not get made before going late.

This started foreclosure proceedings, which we had to enter into a new contract and payment to keep the house. Our monthly mortgage had increased from $1130 to $1600 a month.

The "legal fees" among others added up to over $9000 added to the mortgage.

Oh, they answered my call on the Monday after I had been trying to stay ahead of being late. I had the money to pay if they would have answered the phone or allowed me to make a payment via internet.

All that in the past, I refinanced my house on Oct 4 of this year, 2006. I am no longer under the EVIL OCWEN!!!!

But......... I am still waiting for them to refund my overpayment of the loan and all the taxes they withheld. They drug their feet getting us a payoff for the refi., took them a month to get the number.

By then the next payment was due, to avoid being reported late I was forced to make Oct. payment. They said it would take them 30 days to process any payment we MIGHT be entitled to.

So I started calling about 2 weeks ago to check and they said the department handling the refund is a No Contact department. They were able to inform me that it appeared that they would need more time.

So yesterday I called again the the guy said that the request never got to the right department and it would take 30 days or so to research the request for my refund.

All said they owe me over $4000 in overpayments from tax withholding and mortgage payments made. I talked to my loan broker and she said there was little she could do.

I even called an attorney and he said I was better off just waiting for them to send a check.

I don't trust they even will send it. Is there anything that can be done to make them do there job?

Please help, I am soo tired of dealing with these guys and I feel I have waited long enough. The only reason I refinanced was to be out from there grip.

I choose a worse interest rate than stay with Ocwen, I will probably still save money though, no more mystery fees or late charges!!!!

Once again, if anyone can help me or let me know if anything can be done I would appreciate it.

Thanks for listening, Brian
