OCWEN FSB ripoff fraudulent predatory lender fight back in OHIO keep your home in OHIO Orlando Florida

This is lengthy but please read on...

OCWEN has made our life a living h**l for the past 6 years beginning with the 1st payment we made. Since then, as all of you know, they have used every rotten trick in the book to suck money from us, steal the equity in our home and even continue to attempt to take our home from us.

Things they have done: not posting payments & charging late fees; underpaying our escrow acct & then increasing our payment amount to "cover" the shortage; responding to written requests for information with confusing lists of numbers which are impossible to dicepher; filing foreclosure (2 yrs ago) & forcing us into a forebearance agreement of which we paid over $11000 in 12 mos., then showing no credit to our account for those payments (we owed MORE than the original amount when the forebearance agreement was concluded); refusing to communicate with an attorney we hired to help us straighten out the numbers; charging us $100.00 monthly "property valuation" fees to determine if our property is occupied and refusing to tell us which real estate appraiser actually did the assessment and refusing to give copies of said assessment; reporting us 3 months late to credit bureau, even after we supposedly paid off late, legal fees thru forebearance agreement; charged us $9250 in interest for the same 12 mos of agreement(?) FISHY; refusing to let us speak to anyone who commands the English language after sitting on hold for up to 30 mins...and you all know the rest.

Recently we were forced to file Chapter 13. In the process, we found out that they had actually filed foreclosure against us again without notifying us (no service to us or our attorney of record). After the 13 was filed, our next mortgage payment increased by $100.00 per month with no explanation or notice and they still charged late fee although the Chap 13 should have stopped that. They are now CONTESTING our Chap 13 filing and have somehow added $5000 in additional "fees" (no explanation) to the back amount we supposedly owe. The original mortgage note was for $82000 6 years ago and we now owe them more than that with absolute ZERO equity in our home.

Charlene in TOLEDO, OHIO, and anyone else in OHIO who have been harassed by OCWEN, please contact me via this service or at my email (((ROR REDACTED E-MAIL ADFDRESS FRO SECURITY PURPOSES))) to try and fight these criminals. Like I said, I have an attorney helping with our problems and he is getting very pissed off at their tactics in dealing with him. I want to STOP this piece of crap company in OHIO by coming together and hopefully filing a class action suit but need other victims in our state to get any attention from the Attorney General's office or our state reps or anyone else who has the clout to fight for us.

Anyone in OHIO, my advice is to keep EVERY piece of paper, email, correspondence, records of payments made, etc. from this company. Keep a journal and write down all your contacts with customer service (names, dates, times, etc.). I only make payments thru wire transfer, which can only go directly into their bank account so they cannot post my payment late (but they still do) and my bank also has a record of the wire transfer so I have proof of payment each month.

I intend to attempt to get help from our Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur to bring this scam artist company to attention on a nationwide basis. These people have victimized homeowners in EVERY state of the union and there have been successful class action suits and stories on national TV about them but they still continue the same practices. Who is policing them - is anyone actually accountable for their actions or do they just keep on taking peoples' homes and livlihoods with no recourse? Money to them is nothing. They need to be stopped from doing business in our country and GO BACK TO INDIA. I for one am ANGRY and have HAD ENOUGH OF OCWEN...ISN'T IT TIME for ALL OF US To come together and fight back?

Do you know anyone who can help (a lawyer, a state rep, a congressman/woman). Is there a class action lawyer out there who has the guts to take them on. My personal lawyer is just a one person operation and cannot possibly come up with the resources to take on such a huge task. Somebody just won a $1.8 million settlement against them for doing these same things in another state, if money is an incentive.
