RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM ORCHARD BANK LAST WEEK THE PERSON I TALK TO TOLD ME IF I DIDNT PAY MY BILL THAT THEY NEW WHERE I LIVED AND THEY HAVE WAYS OF TAKING CARE OF PEOPLE LIKE ME. IF YOU EVER DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE IN ANYWAY PLEASE TAPE RECORD ALL CONVERSATION AS THEY ARE NOTHING BUT LIERS. THEY ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR WAYS TO STEAL MONEY FROM YOU WITH ALL THERE FEES I HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE AND THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISION. DON T LET THESE PEOPLE WALK ON YOU PLEASE FIGHT BACK AND PUT A STOP TO THIS. THESE PEOPLE ARE THE SLIM OF THE EARTH. I RECEIVED 8 CALLS IN ONE DAY BY THESE PEOPLE I AM GOING TO FIGHT THEM THROUGHT LEGAL CHANNELS YOU NEED TO DO THE SAME DON T LET THEM GET AWAY WITH THIS.

If they continue threatening you with bodily harm...which is against federal law, do the following when they call:
Tell them: This is to inform you that this phone call is being recorded...pursuant to state law this is your official notification. If you do not wish to be recorded please hang up. Continuing with this conversation after being informed that you are being recorded implies consent to tape record. This recording might be used against you.
Never record a phone call without informing them of this fact...It's against the law to do this.
You can also mail them, via Registered Mail and return receipt, a Cease Communications letter. See this link:

Now, if you have a large amount of debt that is fairly recent and within the statue of limitations...you need to be careful about sending a cease communications letter as this might trigger their attempting to get a judgment against you.
