Personnel Concepts USES FEAR TACTICS TO SELL THEIR POSTERS Ontario California

I get bi-weekly phone calls telling me that I must have this poster or that poster or else I could be fined from hundreds of dollars to tens of thousands of dollars. They even cite how many small businesses have been found incompliant and how much they had to pay (probably false names and numbers). The last time they called, I asked how many businesses in Georgia had been fined, and he said he didn't have that information. Ha!

I get mailings every week from them. The one I received today states that I am currently in their labor law subscription program (I am not) and that I get automatic updates to the Space Saver-1 All-On-One Labor Law Poster. Notice it says automatic, not FREE, because it isn't ever free...they state that all I am paying for is the lamination fee ($9.97) and S&H ($4.95) In the verbiage it states, "Failure to comply with HIPAA regulations can lead to penalties ranging from $2500 to $50,000 per violation.  I paid for all the posters when I opened my business, probably $300 total and also the second year to 'update posters' and then find out it was all a scam.

The following paragraph was in small print at the bottom of an email I received from them:

"AIO Acquisition, Inc. (d/b/a Personnel Concepts) is a non-government compliance firm and a wholly owned subsidiary of Tricor Direct, Inc. Our All-On-One compliance systems, Membership Subscription Service, and Space Saver All-On-One posters are copyrighted material. Individual posters are available at no cost from the government. we do not sell or provide individual government posters. Our products may not be reproduced without prior written permission."

Wish I had seen that two years ago!

I think that AIO Acquisition, Inc d/b/a Personnel Concepts should be forced to pay everyone back and never be allowed to operate again!
