I was involved in a head on collision accident in Houston, TX on June 27th, 2008.

The tow truck driver asked if I had a shop in mind as to where I wanted to take my vehicle to be repaired. When I replied no I did not have a shop in mind he asked if he could take my truck to his shop to be repaired.

A very big mistake I made was saying yes to the tow truck driver's question, giving him my permission to take my vehicle to Post Oak Collision.

My 2004 four wheel drive GMC Sierra SLE Z71 was "repaired" after about six weeks.

The day I arrived at Post Oak Collision my truck appeared to be repaired from the outside of the vehicle as the body work looked relatively good.

Once inside I continued looking the vehicle over for anything out of the ordinary. When I attempted to put the vehicle in four wheel drive at the push of a button, it would not transfer from two wheel drive to four wheel drive.

I confronted Frank who works the front office regarding my vehicle's inability to transfer from two wheel drive to four wheel drive. His initial reaction was to argue with me that the vehicle's four wheel drive needed to be serviced. I produced service receipts from the dealer for the vehicle where I had the four wheel drive serviced just prior to the accident and explained to him the four wheel drive was damaged in the head on collision (which occurred at 50 mph) as it was working just fine prior to the accident.

Frank then agreed that Post Oak Collision would keep the vehicle and repair the 4 wheel drive.

About a week later I got my vehicle back from Post Oak Collision with the four wheel drive repaired and working.

Approximately three months later I take my vehicle to National Tire & Battery (NTB) for a four wheel alignment.

Shortly after arriving at NTB the manager of the shop comes into the waiting area and asks me to go out into the garage with him as he has something to show me on my vehicle.

While in NTB's garage the alignment technician points out a blatantly obvious damaged control arm mount that is welded to the driver's side frame rail that was damaged during the accident on June 27th, 2008 and indicates that the vehicle cannot be aligned with the afore mentioned damage.

I called Frank at Post Oak Collision informing him of the overlooked and unrepaired damage to my vehicle. Frank tells me to bring it back to Post Oak Collision for a third time as they will take it to a GMC dealer and have it repaired.

I confronted Frank the day I brought the truck there for a third time about having the vehicle's four wheels aligned before getting the vehicle back the first time. Frank's response was he has a receipt for an alignment for my vehicle but failed to produce one for my records, despite NTB saying the vehicle cannot be aligned because the control arm mount is damaged.

After two weeks I get my vehicle back from Post Oak Collision. As I am driving away from Post Oak Collision there is a very loud and obvious grinding noise coming from the front driver's side of the vehicle.

The following day I call Frank at Post Oak Collision to express my dissatisfaction with Post Oak Collision. Frank tells me to bring the vehicle back to Post Oak Collision for a fourth time for repair which I reluctantly agree to do.

Finally I get my vehicle back from Post Oak Collision and this year at the start of 2009 I bring my vehicle to Freedom Automotive for an alignment.

Freedom Automotive tells me they cannot align the vehicle as it has extensive frame damage, frame damage beyond repair from the accident on June 27th, 2008.

I have since brought the vehicle to CRC in Tomball, TX and Collision Correction in Spring, TX, both shops which specialize in frame repair and replacement indicate that the frame was not properly repaired by Post Oak Collision.

Neither, my insurance company or the other party's insurance company who was involved inthe accident will pay for the damage to frame as they indicate the shop, Post Oak Collision, has already agreed to repair the frame for a certain amount of money and that the responsibility is now Post Oak Collision's.

Post Oak Collision indicated that the small amount of money they were paid to fix the frame is not enough to repair or replace the frame and that the insurance company is responsible for paying a supplement payment to get it the frame repaired or replaced.

In either case I have retained an attorney, Richard Ardoin, who is currently in the process of suing Post Oak Collision for the damages to my vehicle in which Post Oak Collision agreed to and received payment to repair but did not.

My advice to anyone needing automotive repairs is to stay clear of Post Oak Collision because if they cannot get it right the first, second, third, fourth and fifth times then...something is drastically wrong.
