In March of 2014, I received a promotional package in the mail talking about making money by purchasing mailing spots going for $500 each. They claimed that in order to make any money, they recommend that you purchased at least two spots ($1000). They also list several people with phone numbers who have purchased spots and have made a substantial return on their initial investment. I must admit that I did not perform my due diligence by checking to see if this company PREMIUM PROMOTIONS had any previous complaints.

They sent me a so-called certificate claiming that if I paid $100, they will send me $1000 of Gift cards from my choice of the following: Walmart, Target, K-Mart, McDonalds, Starbucks, Pizza Hut, Best Buy, Costco, Sam's Club, Shell, Exxon/Mobil, Arco, CVS Pharmacy, Walgreens, and SUBWAY with an expiration date of Aug 1, 2014 to take them up on this gift card offer. I should have become suspicious when they only accepted money orders or cashier checks with a note saying NO Personal Checks Accepted for the redemption of this certificate. I sent them a money order for $100. I phoned them several times after 1 week and was told that it takes 4-6 weeks to process the gift cards.

On April 21, 2014 I received some correspondence from them saying that that apologize for the delay in fulfilling my order, because Walmart has been delayed in getting us the gift cards and gift cards vouchers but they have assured them that they will receive the inventory by June 1st. To make up for the delay, PREMIUM PROMOTIONS issued me an additional $1000 worth of gift cards, vouchers and certificate for only $100. "I DON'T THINK SO."  I will not send these scum bags another penny but will also file a complaint with the district Attorney's office so that they can be prosecuted and shut down and hopefully ordered to pay restitution to all of the victims of their scheme!

Premium Promotions Issue Resolved

AUTHOR: Isaac - ()

POSTED: Thursday, July 24, 2014

7/24/2014:

Hello Ripoff Reports, Thank you so much for your assistance in resolving this matter. Premium Promotions issued me a refund in the amount which I paid. This does not clear this business for any wrong doings because other customers could be affected that did not file a complaint as I did. I appreciate your services!
