Please tell me the first step to make my spouse realize that he has been brainwashed by Primerica. Our house is in bankrupcy, electric has been turned off, car reposessed, etc. because he hasn't received a normal pay check in 3 years. I don't know what to do. We have four children.

Try supporting your husband

be a good wife and support him. he obviously believes in what he is doing. He is not doing anything dangerous or illegal. Also, and I hate to break this to you, but if you would have supported him and helped him in the last 3 years, you would not be in this position. I bet you that in the last 3 years, you just sat and complained to him about this right?
Being married is not about supporting your spouse when "you" think is the right decision or not, being married means that you should support each other when he or she strongly believes in what he or she is doing. I would advise you to talk to him again and if he strongly believes in this business, then you should support him by helping him. Maybe not doing exactly what he does, but maybe you can help him with the paperwork and follow-ups.
If he strongly believes in this and you constantly "bring him down" then you might lose him. I am not saying that him staying at PFS is right or wrong, I am just giving you marital advice.

I guess I'm missing something with the OP..it took three years for her to realize her spouse is not making a living? Primerica stinks, but come on--three years?!?

What say you Primerica apologist? Are there any suggestions for this woman? Or are you going to accuse her husband of being lazy, not working hard enough etc... Why is there no PFS response to threads such as these?
