Marie came to my home to do a Financial Needs Analysis on my husband and I. She needed to see all of my current bills and any negative items on my credit report. I told her I had a plan to pay off all of my negative items in one year and that I just needed a job that I can make one thousand dollars a month. She looked at my plan and then looked at me and said "Why not just file bankruptcy and be done with it? Then you won't have to worry about paying it!"

I have only one year experience in this field and one year of college in Business Management, I am not nearly qualified to be a financial advisor, but, even I know that filing bankruptcy is the absolute last resort to be debt free. What kind of professional Financial Advisor would tell me to do that?!

Furthermore, I have experience and college in this field, my friend who has absolutely no experience or education would have been my boss. She would have been asking me how to do things and what everything means. Tell me that is not a pyramid scheme!!
