Rapid Cable Zapped My Credit Report Never in the office when we tried to return modem Frazier Park California

I was a rapid cable customer for a year in the frazier park area, then we had to move. We cancelled the account, and tried to return the modem several times during normal business hours. Funny, but there was never ever anybody in the office. We try occasionally to stop by when we are in the area,but still the office is never open.

Now we are trying to buy a home, and found out that the company has reported us to the credit reporting agencies,..a $50.00 debt could mean the difference between us getting a decent rate or not even qualifying for the loan because our loan officer is a tight*ss.

I called today and got a real live person on the phone who told me he could not help me, I asked him to give me the number of the appropriate person to contact and he hung up on me.

I am real frustrated, and want/need positive results now!
