From the beginning this bank has been a nightmare. Husband opened account w/out me and told us I could just go in to be added. Went in and they said no he has to be present. A year later we moved up north and was told to change our address we needed to come into the branch with our id to change it. Got to IL and find out our address was not changed because the lady did not turn in the paperwork. They told us it could not be changed unless we came into a branch. Really? We are in IL and the bank is in FL. I asked to have the account closed and was under the impression it was. So today I get a letter from collections for $130 from Regions. I call and they said that an automatic withdrawal from our auto loan tried to come through (their error with the saved information online, not ours) and they let it reopen the account and then charged us the fee for not paying it. And on top of it we had another company TRY To charge $1 to the account to try to verify if it was open (again we had no knowledge of it) and they charged us more fees for it. The company did not charge the money was just testing it. When I called today to have the fees removed I was told they couldn't be because the account was in collections and I would have had to call before then. I asked how could I have done that since I didn't receive a single call or letter from them since they would not update my address over the phone after THEIR error. I only knew any of this because of the letter from the collection agency. Their response: oh well. Shady bank don't bank here.

Regions Bank Paid credit card on time through Regions phone service and got a confirmation number. Weeks later got call from collections department for beinging 30 days past due...they had already reported me to credit bureaus and I had no idea anything was wrong.

Rodney O' SUllivan Builder in Spartanburg. Hired him to build a property to specs. Not only did he screw up everythig from the original framing he took off with $180,000 that Regions Bank released to him without checking stage of construction. WE LIITIGATED and we placed a whopping $25,000 lien after being forced to mediate. Excuses were : I had to put my kid through college . This $25,000 was a fraction of what was taken from us and barely enough to pay lawyers. Afterwards we were forced to try to finish this home with another builder only to discover that the electrical which was done by his brother or family was run next to the shower and never capped. Amazing how this person even has a license. We are still upside down on this home over 100k and have been forced since inception to take a hit in relation to the rent vs. cost factor. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MAN AND maybe rethink your banking and construction and remodeling choices. Took a draw on a home for 180,000. Took off with money to use for personal use leaving us 100k short on a home he was contracted to build. Spartanburg South Carolina

Brian Rateria, Regions Bank Regions transferred money to my Chase Card, without my authorization, on a credit card that I never activated. Chase sent me a copy of Regions check showing Regions had the wrong credit card number. Regions broke several Federal Regulations by not have the necessary legal documents. They are trying to cover themselves but they’ve ruined my credit, threatened/harassed me, upset/disrupted my family, and they expect me to accept being a victim. Memphis Tennessee

Regions bank I looked at my bank service and for the second time Regions gas charged me an International service fee. I havn't even bought anything that would warrant a fee for almost $1.00. I mean its just one dollar but.com when it happens more harm once and with all the fees they charge me a dollar can go a long way in determining whether I have enough money in my account oi I do not get charged a NSF fee Nationwide
