I signed a contract for two years with ring central for my business phone system. The two years was up in April of 2018. I called them several times over the last six months to cancel to service only to be told I can not cancel. They said I was still under a contract and insisted I signed a three year contract.

When I showed them my contract for two years they told me it was automatically renewed and that's why it's still under contract till April of this year. I have not needed this service for over a year now. My business fell apart and I no longer have an office or need for this service. They charge me 350 a month for it and I am tired of paying for something I do not use.

I have the contract. No where in my contract does it say it is auto renewed. You know I would ha e used the service again at some point had you not acted like a scam artist but now I would never do business with you again. I wish the guy who worked for me that set this up bothered to look at the real reviews and not the ones you manufacturer.

You have very poor customer reviews and you will put yourself out of business at this rate. You a scamming poor small businesses out of a lot of money. I will not let this go and I will come after you for this if you do not stop right now and cancel my service. There are several of your disgruntled customers about to file a law suit for your unlawful and unethical business practices. Should I join them?

You got caught in small print tactic and you can't cancel it. I'm sorry to hear that.

This is a very common issue with any service subscriptions in the U.S. because of small print. The autorenewal is extremely bad for consumers but very good for vendors. As long as the law is left unchanged, you will have to be very caucious at any subscription type of services...
