This so called company that claimed to be Today's Brides gave me a call telling me that I had recently entered a contest for this so called magazine and I needed to claim my prize. The representative said that my fiance and I had won two $500 dollar gift certificates and a three day honeymoon for anywhere of our choice.

The problem was, I didn't register for anything so I thought this seemed like a scam. I told the representative I did not enter for anything and she said that my name was selected from other entries with another company. I then asked if this was some kind of joke, and she said NO- Big lie!

So then she tells me that I need to claim my prize next week on any night, Tuesday-Thursday at 7:00 p.m. I then made an appointment with her for Tuesday night at 7, and she told me to go to the Marriot Hotel by the airport in Oklahoma City.

I wanted to find out if this was really true, so I called the hotel and asked them what event was going on on that day and time. They told me it was Royal Prestige Bridal show, and I asked if they knew anything about it because I was told I won a contest and I needed to claim my prize. The man I spoke to then told me that they do that to everyone its just a sales gimmick.

I never went to claim my so called prize, because I looked the companies name up on the internet and stumbled across the web site- bridalrewards. It stated all the information they had told me over the phone, the prize and that you have to make an appointment and you must go as a couple. It also said at the bottom of the page, There is no neccesary purchase at all to get the prize.

I then came across this site and read what would have happened if I did go, thank God for this site. These people should be punished for their lies and lures, its wrong to tell someone they won something great and then lure them to screw them over!
