Shopgoodwill.com Be very careful shoppers, Internet

I am a book collector and shop all over the internet.  Shopgoodwill is so frustrating.  USPS offers a special book/media category, so that items in this category get special low rates.  Often shopgw chooses to ship these items Fedex or UPS.  The cost is often triple what USPS Media Mail would charge. Also, books and CD's are the easiest things to pack.  Handling charges range to $5.00 more.  I see good books not being bid on, once the buyer sees the mailing and extra charges.  Self-defeating.

Trusting the sellers on shopgw is a big leap of faith.  The goodwill stores using this site are not rated in any way.  I have had many successful purchases but a couple of worthless ones.  The bad ones were because of limited descriptions and bad Condition reports.  AS IS tells you nothing except Bid at your own peril.  If you attempt to email the seller with a question, you will have a one in ten chance of getting a reply. 

I realize that the listing person may be a volunteer.  I think Goodwill is worthy charity.  But customers buy in good faith. Less but BETTER listings would be appreciated by me.
