Sirius Radio ripoff fraud rebate lies dishonest New York New York

I purchsed a sirius radio June 2nd, 2005, and it included a mail in $50 rebate. Everything was mailed in correctly within a few days. 8 weeks later I called them to inquire about mhy refund. The woman advised it was rejected because I was a few days late on my monthly payment. So we setup auto pay. She advised me the rebate was resubmitted and to wait 4 weeks.

Then next call 4 weeks later I was advised it was never resubmitted and they were sorry but it would be resubmitted again and wait 4 weeks or so....so on and so fourth. Finally on November 8th I called very angry and was given the run around.

Eventually I was informed through email that I didn't qualify because I hadm't signed up for semi annual billing. The rebate made no mention of this and their website has no option for semi annual billing. So through email I had no choice but to pay for 6 months up front-even though at this point I had alreay paid for 6 months on a month to month basis. Again I was advised through email (which I have a copy of) that my rebate was overridden and I would receive my check in 4-6 weeks.

It has been 10 weeks, I have been sending emails for weeks and they will not get back to me. I finally called and was told nobody ever resubmitted it AGAIN?! Yeah right! So the supervisor promised me he would call me back within 24 hours to advise why this was happening; of course no call back. I called again a few days later and was advised it had been resubmitted and this new supervisor would call me in 3 weeks as a follow up to ensure I received my check.

I am not very hopeful at this time and plan on cancelling the service as soon as my check arrives. I am very disappointed with this experience and will not be their customer. Everyone beware of this scam.
