I signed up to try sling tv and I realized that sometimes there is no picture. In other words the tv turns black, and I also could not watch it on two TVs. The picture quality was clear on a roku tv, but for my sumsung tv it was horrible. On the seventh day I cancelled the service and I was billed the following day. I think this is FALSE ADVERTISING! !!

Maybe you should read?

I "read" your report just fine and like I said I never had an issue with their free trial. So like I said i'm guessing you probably ran it over the 7 days (because you counted incorrectly) and if you were *that concerned* with the possibility of being billed and hated the service so much, then why not cancel a day or two before the trial is up?

I've seen so many people blame companies for "billing" them after a trial ends and most of the time it's because people can't be bothered to count the number of days accurately... it boggles the mind why people continue to blame others for their own lack of math skills. Not saying it's the case here, but it honestly wouldn't surprise me if it was.

Like I asked before, did you even call them? They have good phone support and I'm sure they can verify your trial length in their system and fix it if there was a legitimate issue.

False Advertising

Hi! You need to understand that when a company says seven day free trial that means exactly that. It means you will be billed if you don't cancel by the seventh day. The fact is I did cancel on the seventh day and I was still billed. That to me is false advertising and is not fair, so please read the post carefully, maybe there was a fine print that says the person should cancel before the seventh day and I didnt see it. In that case the consumer reserves the right to know. Thanks

SlingTV is legit

Sling TV is not a scam, they are legit. Apparently you did not cancel your service on time before the correct end of the trial period, if you were that concerned you could have done so sooner.

Sling TV made it pretty clear in their terms that they only allow viewing on one device at a time. I read through everything before paying for their service. In fact I had a 7 day trial and ended it with no problems at all, just don't wait till the very last second and possibly go-over that trial period. I liked the service so much, a few months later I did the Roku bundle deal and got 50% off a new Roku box!

Yes their service can be alittle iffy at times and they are making improvements and sometimes their software crashes (could be better), but you should have been able to determine this from your trial and make the decision not to subscribe then. Their phone support was also pretty good when I called, maybe you should call them and ask them for a refund and explain the situation?

As someone who doesn't have cable any longer, I thought it was an OK deal!
