 We bought a ps3 2-3 mnths ago and it died no lights, nothing. we purchased the extended warranty which  brought the price to around $400, we sent it back to playstation for repair and they sent it back saying they wont touch it because they found a dead roach in it, if a dead roach kills the system thats 2 mnths old why are they $400? should be $10 and desposable. heres the harsh part, we called playstation and talked to a manager, he basically screamed at us and argued that we have a nasty house, after butting into our questions "rudely" and then yelled more and said have a nice day and hung up on us....Is this right and wh didnt the replace it? Most manufacturers will decline repairs on "insect infestation"...

 They cause equipment failures through their leavings in the circuitry and the mess is VERY nasty to even attempt to work on.

It also infests the shop with the insects when the unit is disassembled.  I worked on equipment like this and usually put it back together and in a tightly sealed bag for the customer to come back and pickup.

Sony was right in everything they did on your playstation.  Unless you have clogged sinuses, YOU should have smelled the odor coming from it yourself...UGH!
