Superior Moving and Storage in Pompano Beach, FL is the saddest excuse for a moving brokerage company ever. First of all, the guy I made my arrangements with was fired for promising people something reasonable in services. I moved 230 miles, a 3.5 hour drive, so I was originally told it would be a one day move...pick-up in the morning and driven straight to the new address. Reasonable right? Well, as moving day fast approached, I had yet to hear from anyone at the company about the confirmation of the truck. I called them to be spoken to by the supervisor Ben in a rude tone and scolded like a child when I was told about a 3 day window I was not aware of. Ben chided me for not simply accepting this three day window of when a truck would show up to load my things when I was not told about a window of any kind, in fact, told I would be moved in one day. Then after placing me on hold for 10 minutes, he hung-up on me. I called back later and spoke with Lauren who said she was "mortified" at how I was treated and that she was going to see what she could do to fix the problem and would call me back in 30 minutes. I am sure you can guess what happened....wait for it....she never called me back. So when I called the next morning, she told me she had spoken to her supervisor and that my options were a 10% discount or a refund of my deposit.

After I did some investigating and finding another company willing to do the job on short notice (48 hours out from moving date) I opted for my deposit back and fired them. Five hours later, Ben called me at home to ask why I was no longer interested in using their services. When I told him why I was so angry with the lack of information and being misled, he said well he was unable to refund my deposit. When I told him that this was offered to me by Lauren, he said he was Lauren's supervisor and she was not authorized to tell me that. Then Ben proceeded to scold me for not allowing them to "make it up to me." Not sure what he thought they would be able to do to make it up to me (magically have a truck appear in my driveway ready to go?) I told him he was a liar and rude and I was not interested in further contact with them. Please take heed...do not use this company to move...you will end up with no truck, a hole in your wallet and a headache the size of China. Moving is stressful enough without morons taking you for a ride.
