There is more than one Target Store out there - my dear. The fact is my dear - a Target store my abuse someone yet facts is - being more than one - there is likely to be a better one than another or a great number of them - there is something better than you think or unspoken about that is better or worse.

Therefore if you were graphic about your problem - details - evidence - the public could better analyze your problem.

Its too difficult to avoid someone without a reason - they can not all be bad - only a person or place - only a policy for all stores can be good or bad to be about all stores.

Therefore to have a reason - evidence - being real - therefore regardless what critics my say - you would know the facts the evidence if there is.

Therefore where are the facts - your side of this.

Shady Minnesota BBB (Better Business Bureau) Mark Unresolved Target Cases as Resolved. So disgustingly similar as Minnesota BBB (Better Business Bureau) is, they closed Target cases as resolved when it is actually unresolved. Target choose not to communicate when they can’t explain their lies, then BBB said there has been no response, therefore we’ll mark the case as resolved. OMG can you believe it?!!

Consumers, wake up. Or good luck on sending your money to such shady companies like Target. Farewell…

If you paid early enough to not fall into the trap, that doesn't mean Target is not a scammer, it just means you are hard for them to take advantage of. But they are there to prey and they set wide pitfalls for you. 

This is the first retail chain I hated and will never shop again btw. And I will never stop talking about Target.

Hehe oh of course review STILL WORKS and always will work. And true reviews and false reviews are easily distinguished. That is why Target’s lies and ugly true face can’t be hide.

Google ‘Target Red Card Scam’ and similar, you will get the answer. By instinct I sensed I was dealing with some shady practice. Then I googled and found out so many people had the same exact experience as me. Instinct doesn’t lie to you. I had a card with another major retail chains and I was late on payments several times as well but the experience never felt the same way as I did with Target so I knew something is wrong with Target. Tons of other red card victims experienced the same.

What is really ugly is how Target takes advantage of the situation when a customer was late on his/her payment. There are many pitfalls Target set consciously for you; and yes they lied, ugly lies. On the surface, it might looks like it is because the consumers violated the rules etc. But the truth is the rules are set by Target to trap the consumers easily and sometimes even falsely.

You think Target Red Card’s 5% discount on every purchase is lucrative huh. They can’t afford that discount. That is why they can easily make more profit through finance charges. 5% doesn’t save a lot, but one finance charge easily offset tons of customers’ red card discounts. Red Card is Target’s side business for profit, not just to help them save credit card processing fees.

1. They trap consumers:

They didn’t notify I am late till two months later. What is the trick: I am considered late for two month and the charges rolls much higher (it won’t be just two late fees but other interests etc on top of it). This is Target’s disgusting play #1.

E.g. One consumer was charged penalty because she used the Target Red Card to link to her bank account and it takes 3-4 days for the wire transfer to complete and then she was considered late. Google other stories, it seems just so easy to get trapped with Target’s system and it would sounds like it is all consumers’ fault because Target will use rules/laws to their advantage on ad hoc and habitual basis.

2. They lie and make up rules/laws as excuses to take advantage of consumers:

I asked for a one time only grace that they remove the fees. They said they can do one month by the system so I still have one month fee left (sound like Target is correct right?; except don’t forget they intentionally didn’t notified me of my lateness till two months later so of course not all fees will be removed; genius Target!!!). When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I didn’t get the call from the supervisor as told. When I call back to inquiry they told me the supervisor already called. But because by the law of my state, they can only call once and can’t leave a message. So I should make sure I pick up the call. First, the law sounds quite weird right: only call once and can’t leave a message?! The first time I believed in it that I missed the supervisor’s call. I requested another call. I never heard of them again.

As time pass by, I got another bill, now I have 3 months late fees. Target shitty scammer!!!!: they didn’t send me the updated bill reflecting the reduced amount (remember they reduced the fees and they are supposed to send me a new bill. I knew it because that is what the other retail chain I also have a card with did). I called back to question that they didn’t send the updated bill. They said by rules they don’t send it. Now you should understand fully how Target make up things in the name of rules/laws to their advantage.

They said because you haven’t paid yet so now it is 3 months charge. I told them I was waiting to pay once the supervisor calls. Once again they told me the same story that supervisor has already called according to the note. But since there is no call I knew they lied. This buys them time because any amount of time they can delay, it is only making them profit and costing me money.

The agent also said she can remove one month charge for me during this call. Then later when she heard I swear I will never shop at Target again, she instantly changed her script by saying oh she didn’t realize since it has been so long she can no longer remove anything and she apologize for it. I knew it is bullsh*. Now read #4, you will see what kind of disgusting clown Target is.

4. They scam and then will talk you out of it by doing nothing until you are useless for them:

Later on when I google Target complains, I saw whenever a consumer made a negative complain, Target will ‘caringly’ reply by apologize for the ‘confusion’, and then without actually resolve the matter in the favor of the customer, they will say we hope you shop at Target again. This last statement is the true intention why they bother to even respond.

Basically they scam you, then they will talk you out of their sins without doing any real thing. The only reason they respond to you is not because they are sympathetic of your situation (they pretend to be) but to make sure you continue spending your precious money with them.

Same with the BBB complain, they actually respond, but without resolving a d**n issue or respond to the lies they made, they will again say we hope you shop with us again. Once heard no, they never respond again. That is why the scam talker Target is so smelly like s**t.

Walmart, now come over and swallow this loser called Target – target to fail.

Like the others have said, your rant didn't detail ANYTHING that you allege.

 Sorry to tell you this but reviews NO LONGER have the impact they did a few years ago. When reviews were ACTUAL reviews and not someone using the web to show everyone how much of a victim they think they have been made, then your argument would be valid. But after FOUR years of the american consumer lying and scamming, reviews are really seen for what they are. A place someone can anonymously go and slander and defame a business. Even if that business has done NOTHING wrong. The american consumer will STILL lie and scam in that review in order to get something for free over some PERCIEVED slight.

Just from what I can gather from your rant, it looks like they may have charged you $100.00. Probably from late fees and fines. YOU think because YOU had a issue and they wouldnt work with you that YOU are being scammed and that they are being evil and unfair. Does that about sum it up?? I hate to say this, but late fines are normally the fault of the person NOT paying what they owe when they are supposed to.

Also you CANNOT present YOUR LIES OR OPINIONS AS FACT!!! Doing so opens you up to litigation. Target may not be Walmart. But they are big enough to hire enough lawyers to crush you like a bug. So when you make posts such as this, when you present your opinion as fact, you risk being sued for every dime you ever make. So unless you want to CLARIFY the story, no one will take your post seriously. Its all just "WAAAA WAAAA THEY ARE EVIL" with no examples of them being evil other then your accusations.

Do yourself and the web a favor and give us the TRUTH AS YOU SEE IT. As there are ALWAYS three sides to any story. Your side, their side and the TRUTH. Tell your side and be honest. Dont embelish. Dont fabricate. Dont suppose. Tell your story as if you had to tell a judge and jury. Give FACT and NOT opinion. Your situation may be resolvable. But until we know WHAT that situation is, your post goes to the "crazy rant" catagory.

It appears that Target is just like many of the large corporations in America today. Most large corporations are only interested in making profits. Many of them don't seem to care about how the profits are made. There are large corporations that even target their own employees in order to make profits by taking out secret life insurance policies on their employees' lives. One of the main reasons that the Middle Class in America is deteriorating is because of large corporations, in my opinion. Large corporations have replaced the many 'Ma & Pa' shops that were thriving in the 1960's and in the 1970's. Even our government has become a large corporation; the largest corporation on planet earth! (It's currently $17.325+ Trillion in debt, according to the U.S. debt clock.) Large corporations mean large pay plans for the top executives and minimum pay for the vast majority who work there. It is going to get much worse in the coming years, in my opinion.
