The Room Store ripoff poor delivery and once purchase is made company doesn't care!!! Fayetteville North Carolina

I purchase a bedroom set from The Room Store on November 27, 2004 and delivery was set up for the following Saturday. Delivery called several times to confirm date and had the wrong date twice. Finally we had the correct date and on Saturday delivery arrived. The men setting up the furn. needed MY tools to put the items together. The delivery men told me that the dresser and mirror were broken and would need to be reordered. I called customer services will the men were still in my home. I was told that the items would arrive Tuesday and they would call for a delivery date.

Tuesday came and noone called so I called and was told that I had all my pieces sand I would have to call the store. This is when I found out my saleman, Bob Petti entered the wrong item for purchase (even though my husband and I pointed out what we wanted). I had to make a second trip to the store to fix this problem. Set-up was arranged for Saturday. This time they left a message at my house to confirm delivery but had the wrong address and wrong people. I called to confirm and when I shared this mix-up I was told "Oh, well!"

Delivery men arrived at 12:00 and once again used my tools. This time I was told that the screws were missing. So once again I call delivery and was told that the screws would be brought out. 4:00 no screws so I called delivery and they say they can't make it. I call the store to share my problem with the assistant manager and she says she can't help me. It took several times asking to get the store and delivery managers names.

I want to let everyone know how The Roomstore treats its customers! Shop elsewhere, once the sale is made they no longer care about your business!
