Thrillant The spot reservation? THE WORST THING TO HAPPEN ON A VACATION DENVER Nationwide

My poor boyfriend was trying to make one of my bucketlist dreams come true while we were on vacation in Denver. He found an add for a hot air balloon ride. HE called and spoke to a man named ronnie, they talked for about 30 minutes about his options and told hime how to schedule the ride. The first thing my boyfriend pointed out is that he wanted to make sure they would be open on certain days/times because we would only be there for a week. The guy made it sound like we were already scheduled and we were just supposed to get an email certificate from a 3rd party , that we need to call them back with. 

Once we begged another associate for our certificate, we called the 3rd party and they told us , that ronnie would not have been able to schedule us, that is what they do. They would need to call the actual location of the flight and see if they have availabilities. . As soon as we made our payment, that wednesday, we called and could not get anyone to answer the number he provided. So our natural instinct is to call Ronnie back ,who insured us this was his direct line. 

They would never give us the name of the place we were going, the rude rep said she could not give it out to us. WE JUST WANTED TO KNOW WHERE WE WERE GOING.

They had mentioned to us that it would be Colorado Springs, and it would be a 7:30 am flight. We got up the morning early at about 430 to get it resolved before we trecked down to Colorado Springs, and we never got in touch with anyone. We never received any notices about scheduling. We would not get in contact with the place that we were supposed to be going to. 

Needless to say , for the next 3 days we tried to get a hold of ANYONE, and could not. Their offices were closed. 

We paid $447 for 2 people, on what we thought was a romantic highlight to our vacation together, and it turns out that we fell prey to a small group of people who seem to like scamming others. We called back once we arrived home, and finally got someone on the phone, and they said we could not have a refund.

Thankfully, we paid with our Discover and they always help us  out, filed a complaint and its been taken care of on our end. 

NEVER EVER trust these people.
