TIVO refuses to refund me my money on the box i purchased even after 4 cablecards, 2 replacement boxes, hours of calls and 3 visits by Verizon. I purchased a box about 5 months ago and literally after the first month of service, certain channels were not coming through to my box and in addition, I lost completely all premium channels from HBO and Cinemax (about 20 in total). I have gone through hell trying to get this box to work. I have called tivo for hours over several calls within the last 2 months and nothing has resolved the issue. I have paid months worth of premium channel billing, have replaced my cable card 4 times, have replaced my tivo box twice, have replaced the box in my garage once, have had verizon to my home 3 times, and have missed hours and hours of work because of this issue and still i have no HBO/Cinemax chanels working. I have gone above and beyond as a consumer trying to fix the problem with my Tivo box and Tivo's only response is that they can't help me as i've had my box too long. I just replaced the box a few weeks ago! All i wanted was to send the box back to TiVo and get my money back but they refuse to help me. I am appauled with the service I got from them and I am planning to utilize every channel I can to make this known. I demand a refund for the box which i purchased. The unit is called an XL4 and my original date of purchase was about 5 months ago. I spoke to 2 levels of customer service and they refuse to refund my money as they say i've had my box too long. This is their hardware that is causing the problem and i am incredibly angry with this firm. I plan on telling every single person i can to not use TiVO as they are a rip off and completely unwilling to recognize the hardship they have caused me both at home and through missed work. This will be one of many complaints i make through proper channels, including my state attorney general, whom I have worked with before. My original order number is TS26081450
