Travelscape llc AKA now a member of the Expedia Group. Took a booking from my travel agent in the uk for 2 rooms and according to hotel only paid for one las vegas Nevada

 This company took a b ooking from my travel agent in the uk for 2rooms to be booked at the Siests Beach resort and Suites in Siesta key Sarasota. I paid my travel agent £139 for this booking made on 01/26/2013.When Iarrived on the 05/17/2013 I was informed by the desk clerk that I had to payfor one of the rooms because Travelscape had only paid for oane .Ihad to pay $119.99 to obtain the keys for my rooms.When I returned to the UK I complained to my travel agent about this rip off and they passed this complaint back to Travelscape. After a couple of days Travelscape came back with answers that totally outrageous for example ..My two guests for the second room did not show so they booked a no show.My two guests were my daughter and son in law who were travelling with us.My son in law had to provide information on his car for parking and sign for his room cards/key,first lie. Secondly that I had booked an extra room and that I had used all THREE rooms,absolute rubbish.We only had 2 rooms numbers 134and 135 so who was in room 3 that I had booked. I even rang the hotel from the UK and spoke to a MsTammy Knight and to be perfectly honest I had the impression she was under the influence of something,because I could not get one peace of sense out of her so I gave up in the end At this moment in time I have been told that thehotel or Travelscape will not refund my money. I think there is some sort of scam being operated between these two companies and I wish someone would investigate these companies because if you read on various sites it is going on very regularly and they need to be stopped.
